Autres Secrets du Vide et du Plein (1953),
Ghérasim Luca.

Les yeux ouverts

Les Yeux Ouverts has the ambition to seize our time. It gives to hear the voice of a generation born between two collapses, the fall of the Wall and the fall of the Towers. From this word of vertigo, it brings out the urgent need for utopia. If literature and philosophy make common cause, it is a question of weaving with the language and the thought of Camille De Toledo, another weave, carried by the music, the images and the staging, at the same time powerful and joyful, so that everything concurs towards the same intention, the same momentum: «on the side of the potentialities, on the side of the greatest hope»…

Tchadar

Musical score for a slammer, a musician, three dancers, two actresses and a video. Tchadar is a project under creation.

Reflet mural

A new path in which electronics, images and gestures are combined with the complicity of the composer and performer Aurelio Edler-Copes, internationally renowned musicians Frédérique Cambreling and Arnold Marinissen. At the heart of the game’s rules is a screen and its digital reflections, which assembles each score. It’s a concert with innovative game modes, «open» forms and random scores, where music nourish from image.

Hiatus

Musical fantasy. A mathematical chance, two universes, three creations, four characters, various situations around the language inspired by Samuel Beckett, with an encounter without appointment, reflection without words, filled with crossed glances, a sort of game of destiny… A «staged» concert with two percussionists assisted by two actors in charge of bringing us closer to the work of composition, closer to the instrumentalists, with a succession of situations that are sometimes absurd and slowly evolving towards a «beckettian» chaos.

Hommage à Mauricio Kagel

It is an event that jubilantly brings together the spirit of Mauricio Kagel, who calls upon one of his most loyal collaborators, the percussionist – actor – composer Jean-Pierre Drouet, with the complicity of Aperghis, Globokar and Battistelli. At the heart of the proposal, Jean-Pierre Drouet’s presence and setting in space make this program a precious and moving moment.

Migrances

Yi-Ping Yang, has been sharing for several years the artistic adventures of Eric Massé and the Lumas Company. It is around her art and her personal story, that of a young Taiwanese girl who chose exile to work, that this new piece is tied. Between reality and fiction, two women who a priori oppose everything confront their trajectories, the reasons for their exile. Migrating, living elsewhere, at what price? To realize what dreams? A show created as part of the RIT festival.

Overlapping

It is a double performance adapted to museums, galleries and the stage, which brings together music, image and video. While these means are spreading in contemporary art, mapping, video, can they go beyond illustration? How does a musician grasp these new instruments?

Boîte à bijoux

Keyboard solo (vibraphone and marimba), musical adaptation around Hélène de Montgeroult, Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Nanneri Mozart. These avant-garde women, living in the male shadow, are a counterpoint to the powerful performers Yoko Ono, Charlotte Moorman and Catherine Jauniaux, whose presence accompanies the show.

Hero-Limite(d)

A sound universe around Dadaism, Fluxus and lettrists artists, which combines sound poetry with music in compositions of gesture and voice, including a complete percussion adaptation of Kurt Schwitters’ famous Ursonate.
